She had greatly expanded her audience that year by playing as the opening act for The Rolling Stones. Robinson was a photographer for Vogue until the early 70s. At that time he was shooting for the "People are Talking About" a feature that profiled up-and-coming personalities in arts, entertainment and politics, under iconic style editor Carrie Donovan.
